Student Activities

Culturals

St. John’s College of Nursing places great emphasis on extracurricular activities, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and skills. Every year, St. John’s College of Nursing organizes an annual cultural programme titled “Nightingale Fiesta” to promote extracurricular engagement and holistic development among students. The event serves as a platform for students to showcase their cultural talents, creativity, and teamwork beyond academic activities.

The programme includes a wide range of on-stage and off-stage events. On-stage competitions feature performances such as Indian solo and group singing, Western solo and group singing, dance, mime, skit, and fashion show, which enhance students’ confidence and stage presence.

Off-stage events such as spin the yard, cooking without fire, best out of waste, collage making, card making, and pot painting encourage innovation, artistic skills, and active participation.

Overall, Nightingale Fiesta plays a significant role in fostering cultural spirit, unity, and personality development among nursing students, contributing to their overall growth as future healthcare professionals.
