Obstetrics and gynecology nursing skill Lab offers practical experience of assessments, conduction of labour and the demonstration of mechanism of labour with models. It provides the platform to practice the theory learned in the classroom. Skill lab practice makes the students more confident to perform and provide comprehensive quality care at bedside.

The MCH skill lab has the following facilities: 

• Demonstration models for antenatal and postnatal care. 
• Simulation tools for labor and delivery procedures. 
• Newborn assessment and resuscitation manikins. 
• Models of female pelvis, fetal skull, and other obstetric aids. 
• Family planning procedure models. 
• Charts and audiovisual aids for health education. 

Regular skill lab hours are scheduled for students to enhance their hands-on proficiency. These sessions are supervised by faculty to ensure practical skill acquisition before clinical postings.
