The department has well-structured and fully equipped Fundamentals of Nursing Laboratory—a space where our students begin transforming theory into practice.
Our lab is designed to simulate real-world clinical environments, allowing students to develop hands-on skills in a safe, supportive, and supervised setting. Here, students are not only introduced to basic nursing procedures but are also encouraged to practice repeatedly through return demonstrations, helping them build confidence before stepping into actual patient care areas.
We have hospital beds, anatomical models, and four full-body manikins, for interactive training. Additionally, we have a CPR half-body mannequin, two IV arm models, and specialized equipment for practicing vital procedures such as injections, cannulation, and catheterization. Students are also trained in first aid, emergency care, and CPR techniques, ensuring they are prepared to manage urgent clinical situations.
The lab is spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with essential teaching aids such as demonstration charts, audio-visual tools, and skill checklists to enhance learning. Our experienced faculty members provide continuous guidance and real-time feedback, creating an environment of trust, precision, and learning.
Through this experiential setup, we aim to cultivate not just skilful execution but also a deep understanding of safe, ethical, and compassionate nursing care - the very essence of our profession.
