Skill Laboratory

The department has a well-equipped Medical-Surgical Nursing Skill Laboratory designed to bridge the gap between theory and clinical practice. 

The lab provides a safe and supportive environment where students can practice and refine essential nursing skills before entering real clinical settings.

The laboratory is equipped with advanced mannequins, procedure models, and essential equipment required for adult health nursing procedures. Regularly scheduled practice sessions, guided demonstrations, and supervised return demonstrations help students gain confidence, precision, and clinical competence.

Hospital Facilities

Students receive extensive clinical exposure at a 1,350-bedded multi-speciality tertiary care teaching hospital. Planned postings are provided in medical and surgical wards, emergency services, critical care units, operation theatres, dialysis units, oncology units, and other specialised areas. Exposure to diagnostic departments such as laboratories, blood banks, and radiology further enriches clinical learning and ensures achievement of prescribed clinical competencies.
