NSS Unit - SJCON - National Road Safety Awareness Rally

A National Road Safety Awareness Rally was jointly organized by St. John’s Hospital, Brigade Meadows, and Kaggalipura Police Station on Tuesday, 20th January 2026, with the aim of creating public awareness regarding road safety, traffic rules, and accident prevention. The rally was conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The program commenced at Lakshmipura (opposite IBA) and was flagged off at Café Coffee Day. The rally proceeded along Kanakapura Main Road and concluded at Brigade Meadows. Students of the GNM 2025 Batch actively participated in the rally under the guidance and supervision of Mrs. Abisha and Ms. Kaviarasi. The participants carried placards and displayed posters conveying important messages such as wearing seat belts, avoiding mobile phone usage while driving, following traffic signals, and maintaining safe speed limits. Overall, the rally was well organized and effective in spreading awareness on road safety and accident prevention, contributing positively towards public health and community safety.
