A Cross-Sectional Survey on the Awareness of Health Education Regarding Strengthening Exercises Among Geriatric Patients
Project Description
This cross-sectional survey aims to assess the awareness of health education regarding strengthening exercises among geriatric patients. Strengthening exercises are essential for maintaining muscle strength, balance, and functional independence in older adults. However, limited knowledge and inadequate health education may hinder their regular practice. Data will be collected using a structured questionnaire to evaluate awareness levels, sources of information, and perceived benefits and barriers to exercise. The findings of this study will help identify gaps in health education and guide healthcare professionals in developing effective educational strategies to promote strengthening exercises among the geriatric population, thereby improving physical function and quality of life.
