Dr. Bharat Kalidindi is a dedicated public health researcher and research associate in the Division of Medical Informatics at St. John’s Research Institute (SJRI), Bengaluru, where he contributes to multidisciplinary research at the intersection of health, technology, and system design. As part of the core Medical Informatics team alongside colleagues such as Dr. Ryan Fernandez and Dr. Dhinagaran, he supports projects that aim to enhance healthcare delivery and digital health innovation in low- and middle-income contexts.

With a background in public health (Master of Public Health), Dr. Kalidindi’s work spans applied research and digital health, including human-centered design approaches to mobile health (mHealth) systems and community-focused healthcare solutions. He has co-authored peer-reviewed publications such as The Vinyasa Tool for mHealth Solutions, which proposes practical frameworks for improving the usability and adoption of mHealth technologies in resource-constrained environments.

Dr. Kalidindi’s research spans both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, with contributions examining telemedicine satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic and the uptake of technology in public health programs, highlighting his commitment to meaningful, context-driven digital health research that bridges academic inquiry and real-world implementation in India and similar settings.
