Project Description
The POCTRN – Point of Care Technologies for Nutrition, Infection and Cancer for Global Health (PORTENT) Study is a five-year research initiative focused on the evaluation and selection of up to five point-of-care diagnostic devices addressing priority domains in nutrition, infectious diseases, and cancer. The study aims to accelerate the development of selected devices through systematic evaluation and clinical validation, with particular relevance to the Indian context. In addition, the study includes pilot assessments to examine operational feasibility and pathways to commercialization, supporting the translation of promising point-of-care technologies into real-world healthcare settings.
