Impact of Vitamin D Supplementation on Preterm Births and Pre-Rupture of Membranes: A Double-Blind Randomized Controlled Trial
Project Description
The findings will evaluate whether a dose of 2000 IU vitamin D3/d supplemented during pregnancy (from 14 weeks till delivery) will lower the incidence of preterm births (PTB) as compared to 500 IU vitamin D3/d as the standard of care.
