Evaluation of the effectiveness of a specially designed food product in promoting weight gain and changes in body composition in children with Severe Acute Malnutrition
Project Description
A study to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention using the food product developed (Bal Poshan Ahaar now termed ‘NutriShakthi Bal Ahaar’ versus the take home ration/hot cooked meal and/or regular home foods currently provided in the community or homes in promoting weight gain in children with uncomplicated SAM.
