Community Health Workers Perceptions of a chronic Disease and Mental Health Care Intervention in Karnataka.
Project Description
The study will assess levels of stigma toward mental illness among medical officers and nurse case managers at PHCs using quantitative measures and examine its association with intervention participation. In addition, qualitative interviews with ASHAs will explore their perceptions of roles and responsibilities, the intervention’s effectiveness, and perceived barriers and facilitators to sustainability, recognizing their critical role in implementation.
