Project Description

The core focus of this project was to build evidence-based clinical documentation templates covering Ambulatory, Acute Care, Critical Care and ED for use in Electronic Health Records (EHRs).

• Over 700 clinical documentation templates covering all the medical specialties were built during the course of this project
• The project also involved development of Clinical Decision Support modules
• The team was trained to used lexicons such as ICD9-CM, SNOMED-CT, RxNORM, LOINC and E&M Codes
• The team also had exposure to the US healthcare system including reforms for Meaningful Use
