Thank you for taking the time to read my bio. I am a PhD student at St. John’s Research Institute. I am passionate about health, fitness, and nutrition, with a strong commitment to addressing global challenges such as health inequities, water scarcity, climate change, and plastic waste. My doctoral research, “Impact of Vitamin D2-Enhanced Mushrooms on Vitamin D Concentration and Insulin Resistance: A Randomized, Single-Blind Study in Vitamin D Deficient Young Adults with Obesity or Overweight in Bangalore, India”, investigates a cost-effective, innovative dietary interventions to improve Vitamin D status and metabolic health outcomes. Beyond research, I love to play sports and bring the same energy and teamwork from the field into my academic pursuits.
