My primary research interest is in the area of developing computational methodologies for integrative Omics analysis towards understanding the complex interactome underlying disease biology and drug response. I currently work on developing a precision medicine approach to delivering anti-diabetes therapy by exploring the interplay of genetic factors and metabolites in determining response to metformin in diabetes patients.

I also work extensively to understand and model the absorption kinetics of nutrient absorption, specifically Vitamin B12. My interests also involve establishing the data analysis framework for untargeted metabolomics and utilize it efficiently for varied applications in the area of nutrition and complex metabolic disorders. I am also interested in understanding the interplay between the microbiome and host metabolomics that dictates the outcome of diverse disease conditions and therapeutic response.
