The one-day Stakeholder Consultation on Addressing Child Malnutrition (Severe Acute Malnutrition - Moderate Acute Malnutrition) was a consultation meeting held by the State Planning Commission, Government of Tamil Nadu, in Chennai. The government’s aim was to strengthen institutional mechanisms, for capacity building of various stakeholders in nutrition, for facilitating knowledge generation and to share best practices, and to generate evidence and promotion of technological governance to guide the Tamil Nadu government towards nutrition security and malnutrition-free childhood.
