The Department of Pharmacology led by Dr. Denis Xavier was awarded the “Center of Excellence in Clinical Trials’ for the study titled “impact, cost effectiveness and sustainability of a synergistic, multipronged, customised, low-cost intervention package to reduce cardiovascular disease burden among diverse population across India” in February 2024.​
