Aneurysmal bone cysts are benign, vascular lesions that can grow aggressively, be locally destructive, and weaken bones to the point of pathologic fracture. They are more common in pediatric patients and can cause significant morbidity, especially if they involve the growth plate of bones. In this article, we report a rare case of proximal humerus aneurysmal bone cyst where the fibula strut graft was completely resorbed showing the aggressiveness of the lesion.
