Successful endoscopic therapy of an obstructing common bile duct web
R Kottoor 1, J F Alvares, H Devarbhavi Webs in the common bile duct (CBD) are rare. This report is of a patient who presented with cholangitis caused by a CBD web that was managed with balloon dilatation and antibiotics. The patient became asymptomatic within a week of the initiation of therapy and remained so after 6 months follow-up.
