The publisher regrets a printing error in the Table 2 of the article entitled “Indian National Association for the Study of Liver Consensus statement on Acute Liver Failure (Part-2): Management of Acute Liver Failure. The dose of N-acetylcysteine (NAC) for ALF has been erroneously shown as

“NAC should be started in a dose of 150 mg/kg body weight in 250 ml 5% dextrose over 1 hour followed by 100 mg/kg per dose every 6 hours over 72 hours.1”

It should read as follows:

“NAC should be started in a dose of (a) 150mg/kg body weight in 250 ml of 5% dextrose over 1 hour, followed by (b) 50 mg/Kg over 4 hours and then (c) 100 mg/kg over 16 hours. The latter dose i.e., 100 mg/Kg over 16 hours may be repeated till encephalopathy and INR normalize.
