Project Description

This study evaluates the effectiveness of an innovative Re-Humanization intervention designed to restore dignity, agency, and therapeutic engagement among patients with severe Alcohol Use Disorders in India. The intervention integrates person-centered care principles with psychosocial and contextual approaches to improve treatment engagement, adherence, and recovery-oriented outcomes. The project aims to generate evidence for culturally sensitive, humane care models in addiction psychiatry within the Indian healthcare setting.
