Projects

Identification and evaluation of prognostic markers involving Rho/ROCK signaling pathway in radiation response in cervical cancer.

Project Description

The study involved assessing the role of ROCK2 as a potential radio-sensitization target for improving radiation response. The classical targeting approach (for knockdown of gene) involves using siRNA to deplete mRNA for the corresponding gene and then understand the phenotype. This approach is very useful in performing in vitro studies to target gene functions in cell lines.
