Hypofractionation versus conventional fractionation in breast conservation surgery: a prospective observational study

Project Description

There are very few Indian studies addressing hypofractionation in breast. The acute toxicities, cosmesis and quality of life in patients receiving hypofractionated radiotherapy in Indian setting is not well documented. The fact that it decreases the overall treatment time, increases patient compliance and is more cost effective with equivalent results in terms of efficacy, toxicity and adverse effects make it imperative that it should be tested in Indian scenario.
