Dr. Suhas Chandran is Associate Professor and Head of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bangalore, where he has served on the faculty for the past 8 years.

Areas of clinical expertise includes the following:

Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Developmental Disorders, Specific Learning Disorders, Tic Disorders

Mood & Anxiety Disorders: Childhood depression, Anxiety disorders, Grief in children

Other Areas: Eating disorders in adolescents, Early onset psychosis, Behavioral and other addictions

Dr. Chandran serves as Academic Coordinator of the Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. He is actively involved in training post-doctoral fellows, psychiatry residents, pediatric residents, medical students, and nursing students in child and adolescent mental health.
